About AM2000EX Isolated Safety Barrier

HollySys AM2000EX isolated safety barriers is used to connect intrinsically safe equipment in hazardous areas. It consists of plug-in modules and a backplane, with each module containing either 1 analog or 2 digital isolated channels. Each module has 2 connectors for plugging into the backplane-one for the intrinsically safe circuit and the other for the non-intrinsically safe circuit. The backplane is housed in a plastic enclosure, which can be mounted on a DIN rail. The backplane provides power and hazardous area wiring terminals, as well as connectors for the non-hazardous area. Each backplane can accommodate up to 8 plug-in AM2000EX modules.
