Lineside Electronic Unit (LEU)
Product Description
Lineside Electronic Unit (LEU) is a safety-level 4 trackside equipment in the train control system, connected to switchable balises and other signal devices such as the train control center and interlocking equipment. It receives data from the train control equipment or interlocking equipment, after secure processing, transmits it to the switchable balise.
HollySys offers two types of LEU products: telegram real-time Transmission equipment and telegram Storage equipment.
The telegram real-time Transmission LEU receives telegram data from the train control equipment, securely processes it, and transparently transmits it to the switchable balise.
The telegram storage LEU receives information from the interlocking equipment (or collects relay node states). It compares this information with internally stored line conditions, selects the corresponding balise telegram, securely processes it, and sends it to the switchable balise.
