Data Storage Unit (DSU)
Product Description
Data Storage Unit (DSU) can be used to store digital line map data for both the local and interconnected routes. Upon the Vehicle On-Board Controller (VOBC) powering up, the DSU responds to the requests from on-board equipment, does the version verification by providing information about the electronic map version. Additionally, it addresses requests for downloading electronic map data and transmits the relevant information. The DSU functionality enhances the efficiency, reliability, and security of the process of updating and verifying electronic maps on the on-board system.
