On-board Control Equipment

Product Description

ATP

On-board ATP Equipment is a highly reliable and safety-oriented equipment that meets the development needs of railway transportation. There are two versions of the ATP equipment, respectively complying with CTCS and ETCS standards, The ETCS version got TSI certification for ETCS Level 0, Level 1 and Level2.

It was developed with "2oo2" redundant safety platform and fail-safe design, based on high reliable computer board and a real-time OS, and it complies with the highest safety integrity level (SIL4) according to EN 50129. ATP receives radio messages, balise information, and track circuit data from the trackside by GSM-R, BTM, and TCR. It processes train movement authority, trackside information, and interfaces, creating the most restrictive speed profile according to the continuous speed control mode based on target distance. The system achieves train operation monitoring and safety by cutting off traction, controlling the pantograph, applying various brake levels, and implementing emergency braking.

ATO

Under the organization and leadership of the China State Railway Group Co.,Ltd., HollySys has implemented fully automated ATO technology in the control systems of high-speed railways with speeds up to 250 km/h and 350 km/h. It also has implemented in urban railway system. Based on the train control systems, on-board ATO units achieves automatic driving, aiming to enhance transportation efficiency, reduce driver workload, and ensure the passengers safety during boarding.
