HollySys Wins Control System Contract for China Huadian's Damaoqi-to-Baotou 195-km Hydrogen Transmission Pipeline Project

Recently, HollySys secured the control system procurement contract for China Huadian Corporation Ltd.'s Damaoqi-to-Baotou 195-km Hydrogen Transmission Pipeline Project. HollySys will deliver the central control solution for this landmark ultra-long hydrogen pipeline.

As one of the pioneering projects in China's hydrogen sector and a key component of Inner Mongolia's green hydrogen network, the Damaoqi-to-Baotou pipeline plays a critical role in Huadian's integrated hydrogen value chain. Stretching 195 km from the Baiyun Obo Mining Area to Baotou's Kundulun District, the pipeline traverses 5 regions, incorporates 4 stations and 6 valve rooms, and is designed for a pressure of 6.3 MPa with a transmission capacity of 200 KTA. Serving as a critical energy corridor between the northern green hydrogen production base and Baotou’s industrial core, it supports Huadian's 200 MW wind-solar hydrogen production project and facilitates diverse applications such as industrial hydrogen blending and hydrogen mobility, forming a closed-loop system encompassing green power, hydrogen production, storage and transmission, and end use.

Leveraging its proven core control technologies and extensive experience in the energy sector, HollySys will deliver a central control solution for the project. The solution is characterized by high stability, robust environmental resilience, and comprehensive integration capabilities, which are essential for the safe, efficient, and intelligent operation of an ultra-long hydrogen pipeline.
