About WR-K Armored Thermocouple

HollySys WR-K armored thermocouple material is a composite structure consisting of thermocouple wires, insulating materials, and a metal sheath, which is subsequently processed into an armored thermocouple for temperature measurement through welding and assembly processes. Armored thermocouples primarily comprise junction boxes, terminal blocks, armored thermocouple elements, and various mounting and securing devices. The temperature-sensing elements of armored thermocouples are highly robust and durable, making them an ideal replacement for assembly-type thermocouples. As temperature measurement sen sors, armored thermocouples, when paired with display instruments and computer systems, enable direct the measurement and control of the temperature of liquid and gaseous media, as well as solid surfaces, within a range of -200 to 1800 °C in industrial production processes. They are extensively utilized in industries and research fields such as petroleum, chemical, power genera tion, metallurgy, and food processings.
