About WZ-K RTD

HollySys WZ-K Armored Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTD) are constructed with multiple (typically 3 or 6) nickel wire core conductors, encapsulated in inorganic insulation and a metal sheath, then compacted into a solid unit. This assembly, known as armored thermal resistance material, is integrated with a resistance temperature sensing element, insulating filler, and a metal protective tube via argon arc welding-forming an armored RTD temperature sensor designed for precise temperature measurement. The product primarily consists of a junction box, an internal lead assembly, and the armored RTD sensing element, along with various mounting fixtures. Its temperature-sensitive component functions similarly to that of a standard assembled RTD. When paired with display instruments or control systems, the armored RTD serves as a temperature sensor for measuring and regulating temperatures in industrial processes (-200°C to +650°C), including those involving liquids, vapors, gaseous media, and solid surfaces. It is widely used in the petroleum, chemical, power, metallurgical, food processing, and research sectors.
