At 6:55 September 6, 2022, train G6518 heading to Yiyang South Railway Station departed from Changsha Station, marking the opening to traffic of the Yiyang-Changsha section of Changde-Yiyang-Changsha (CYC) High-speed Railway (HSR), along with Yiyang City's inauguration as an HSR city.
