Overview
The Green Steam Supply Center Project of Sinopec Yangzi Petrochemical Co., Ltd. is a flagship environmental initiative under Sinopec, with a total investment of 225.8 million USD. The project boasts an annual power generation capacity of 700 million kWh and an annual heat supply of 19.8136 million GJ. It includes 3 × 540 T/H coal-fired boilers and 2 × CB50MW turbine units, serving as a cornerstone for Yangzi Petrochemical to optimize its energy structure and drive green development.
Solutions
The project leverages HollySys' T800K high-pressure anti-fuel oil turbine digital electro-hydraulic control system, integrating the design, integration, and commissioning of DCS, DEH, and ETS. Tailored to the unique requirements of extraction steam heating units, the solution ensures dual functionality for both heating and power generation, significantly enhancing economic efficiency and operational reliability while supporting high-performance project execution.
Results
Upon commissioning, the project will decommission the existing 1-5 coal-fired boilers and 1-3 extraction condensing turbine units, delivering remarkable energy-saving and emission-reduction outcomes. Furthermore, the project will become one of Yangzi Petrochemical's most critical energy supply hubs, substantially strengthening the stable supply capacity of steam and power for the thermal power plant, and fostering synergistic growth between regional economies and environmental sustainability.
