On November 18, the Qinghai Western Mining Rare and Precious Metals Company‘s Multi-Metal Resource Recycling and Environmental Upgrade Project commenced operations. With an investment of 2.62 billion RMB, the project is the largest multi-metal recycling project in China.
HollySys played a pivotal role as the automation integration provider for the entire facility, drawing upon its extensive experience in large-scale metallurgical projects to deliver customized solutions and professional guidance throughout development phases to ensure seamless execution.
The plant is expected to produce 200,000 tons of lead, 6 tons of gold, 430 tons of silver, and 250,000 tons of sulfuric acid annually while also recovering valuable metals like copper, zinc, and palladium. With an anticipated annual output value of 10 billion RMB and profits of 260 million RMB, the project significantly boosts regional economic growth, promotes resource recycling efforts, and advances environmental sustainability.
