The 3rd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation took place in Beijing in this beautiful autumn season. Leaders from various countries and international organizations gathered in Beijing to enhance the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). Notably, technology innovation and low-carbon solutions have become key trends in the BRI. On October 20, 2023, the “China-Saudi Energy Efficiency Technology Workshop - Exploring Opportunities of Energy Efficiency in Saudi” was organized in Beijing by the National Energy Conservation Center and the Saudi Energy Efficiency Center. The event featured speeches by Deputy Director Shi Zuoting from the National Energy Conservation Center and Director General Naif Al-Abadi from the Saudi Energy Efficiency Center. A total of 37 Chinese enterprises specializing in energy efficiency were invited to the workshop. HollySys Group attended the workshop, representing China's advanced technology enterprises in the energy efficiency industry. In recent years, HollySys has been actively participating in the BRI, promoting its cutting-edge products worldwide, and providing advanced products and technical services to over 40 countries and regions. HollySys is eager to collaborate with National Energy Conservation Center and the Saudi Energy Efficiency Center under the guidance of the strategic partnership between China and Saudi Arabia, promoting Saudi Arabia's energy transition and the innovative development of energy efficiency industry.
In the afternoon, Energy Services Manager Abdullah Alotaibi and Project Manager Abdul Mohsin Al-Mokat from the Saudi Energy Efficiency Center visited HollySys Beijing facility. Both sides discussed energy efficiency, sustainable development, and explored potential collaborations with the goal of achieving mutual benefits and positive outcomes. HollySys Group was represented by its Co-President, Fang Lei, Vice President Jiang Huaijin, Assistant President , and HollySys Asia Pacific (HAP) COO Yan Pei, General Manager of International Business Manager Zhang Qiuju, Manager of Group Office Wang Kai, General Manager of Market Development of Hangzhou HollySys Su Liangjin, Sales Director of HAP Ke Shuncai, Regional Sales Manager Wei Xiaodong. They were joined by officials from the National Energy Conservation Center, including Deputy Director Shi Zuoting and delegates from the International Cooperation Department.
The Saudi delegation visited HollySys Intelligent Experience Center, the Digital Manufacturing Workshop, and the Rail Transit Laboratory. They gained a comprehensive understanding of HollySys's history, industrial layout, and significant achievements. They also experienced the innovation and advanced nature of HollySys's technology and products. In the Digital Manufacturing Workshop, the HollySys team provided a detailed presentation on how HollySys produce its own intelligent control equipment in its intelligent factory. Abdullah Alotaibi was highly impressive by HollySys continuous innovation and technical capabilities.
During the meeting hold after the visit, Fang Lei extended a warm welcome to Abdullah Alotaibi and his delegation, expressing gratitude to the National Energy Conservation Center and the Saudi Energy Efficiency Center for facilitating a technical exchange platform and for their trust and support of HollySys. Ke Shuncai then introduced HollySys’s technical strengths in energy efficiency. The participants continued their discussions and reached a mutual agreement on enhancing technical exchange and fostering deeper collaboration.
