Keynote Speeches
Collaborating to Explore New Opportunities in the Industry
Xu Yaqian, an integration design engineer from HollySys Rail, delivered a keynote speech on "Driving Force & Opportunities of Railway Signalling Modernization". She stated, "the railway industry is at an unprecedented significant juncture, with both challenges and opportunities. On the one hand, customer has higher expectations for railway signalling systems as time goes by, with urgent demands for all-round improvement in safety, intelligence, efficiency, and economy. On the other hand, emerging technologies such as big data, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things make it possible for achieving these goals." She highlighted the continuous enhancement of automation, the widespread application of new technologies in railway signalling, the upgrading of subway signalling systems, and the evolution of mainline signalling systems, pointing out the driving forces and development opportunities for railway signalling modernization.
Zhao Wei, a senior integration design engineer at HollySys Rail, delivered a presentation on "Cost-Efficient Solutions for Signalling Refurbishment". To address issues such as high costs, complex systems, and difficult application in railway signalling system renovations, HollySys Rail proposed a streamlined and efficient solution for the railway signalling system based on real project data. This solution aims to achieve a perfect balance between cost and performance while fully ensuring system safety, providing users with a practical solution and offering the industry a new choice for signalling system upgrades.
