Overview

This Power Plant processes 2400 tons of waste per day, utilizing four reverse push mechanical grate waste incinerators, each with a daily processing capacity of 600 tons. The primary goal of this project was to achieve automatic control of the incinerators, eliminating delays, inaccuracies, and instabilities caused by manual operations. By automatically adjusting operating parameters based on furnace conditions and changes in waste calorific value, the project aimed to optimize control and maximize incinerator efficiency.

Solutions

HollySys utilized big data analysis and advanced control technology to optimize the automatic control of the waste incinerators. This enhanced the process control capability, increased resistance to interference, and ensured stable control of key process indicators. The system quickly adapted to changes in calorific value and load, ensuring safe, stable, and economical operation.

Results

Our automation system ensured precise control, achieving efficient and stable waste combustion. It maintained stable furnace temperatures, balanced steam production, and consistent waste supply, with low heat loss in the slag and stable pollutant emissions. Operations were greatly simplified, reducing labor intensity and increasing waste processing to meet the design standards. The system and equipment operated stably, with an automatic operation rate exceeding 95%, and the labor intensity of the operational staff reduced by 70%.
