ZAUCC 1.7MTA Coal to Methanol and Olefin Conversion Project

Overview

This project boasts a production capability of 350 kta linear low-density polyethylene and 350 kta polypropylene, with a total investment of 20.6 billion yuan. It encompasses coal-to-methanol, S-MTO, olefin catalytic cracking, polypropylene, low-density polyethylene production units, utilities, and auxiliary facilities.

Solutions

HollySys contributed to the project construction with the MAV mode, delivering the "HOLLiAS Petrochemical Integrated Solution" based on continuous innovative DCS and SIS products, integrating nine major systems. Additionally, we provided lifecycle products and services, offering value-added solutions in process control, safety management, operational optimization, and production management, ultimately achieving optimal enterprise operations. The DCS system for this project comprises 19 domains, with approximately 80,000 physical I/O points and about 130,000 communication points.

Results

Following project implementation, the system operates smoothly, demonstrating stable performance and network security, notably reducing operator pressure and enhancing production efficiency.
