HollySys Contributes to the Operation of Sinopec Tianjin Nan'gang 1.2 MTA Ethylene & High-end New Materials Industrial Cluster Project

On Nov. 11, 2024, Sinopec Tianjin Nan'gang 1.2 MTA Ethylene & High-end New Materials Industrial Cluster Project commenced full-process operation, producing qualified products. With a total investment of over 30 billion RMB, the project features a core 1.2 MTA ethylene unit supported by 13 additional production units.

HollySys provided its HOLLiAS® integrated petrochemical solution, incorporating 14 key systems such as DCS, SIS, OCS, GDS, OTS, IDM, CPMS, and cybersecurity, with over 100,000 DCS I/Os, over 20,000 SIS I/Os, and over 10,000 OCS I/Os. The large-scale deployment of SIS ensures safe and stable operations while the OCS enhances signal quality and reduces costs. HollySys software solutions like DCS Hardlink simulation and HiaIDM facilitate smarter plant operation through predictive maintenance and centralized management.

By increasing Tianjin's ethylene capacity to 2.5 MTA and supplying 4 MTA of high-end chemical raw materials, the project will enhance upstream and downstream industrial clusters and support Tianjin Port’s development as a leading global port.
