On the morning of April 12, Beijing HollySys Industrial Software Co., Ltd. (“HollySys IS”) and Beijing University of Chemical Technology’s College of Information Science and Technology (“BUCT’s CIST”) signed a cooperation agreement.

Attendees at the signing ceremony included Zhai Qingming, General Manager, HollySys IS; Jiao Xiaoying, Deputy General Manager, HollySys IS; Li Chunfu, Deputy Chief Engineer, HollySys IS; Liu Dong, Marketing Department Manager, HollySys IS; Feng He, Party Committee Secretary, CIST; Wang Youqing, Dean, CIST; Wang Xueqin, Li Dazi, and Zhang Fan, Vice Deans, CIST; Prof. Chen Juan, Head, Control Discipline, CIST; and Prof. Zhou Jinglin and Prof. Zhao Zhong, Faculty Representatives.

Jiao Xiaoying and Wang Youqing signed the University-Enterprise Cooperation Agreement, on behalf of HollySys IS and BUCT’s CIST, respectively.

Feng He, CIST’s Party Committee Secretary, delivered a speech expressing the hope that the signing of the agreement, which marks a milestone in strengthening the two sides’ bilateral cooperation, would give this a further boost. He added that BUCT’s CIST, which consists of Automation, Measurement and Control Technology, Computing, and Information Engineering Departments, covered most directions of application in the information technology field, and comprises a complete talent training system. In recent years, CIST had been continuously developing and innovating in the emerging technology fields via implementing a “strengthening colleges with talent” development concept. As a subsidiary of HollySys specializing in industrial software product R&D and services, HollySys IS is committed to providing users with professional industrial software systems and comprehensive, customized smart factory solutions. Multiple cooperation scenarios imbued the cooperation between HollySys IS and BUCT CIST with great promise, and given their common industrial background and the times, the integration of multiple opportunities was sure to continually impart momentum to the two institution’s bilateral cooperation.

On behalf of HollySys IS, Jiao Xiaoying first thanked BUCT CIST’s leaders and professors for their attention and support for the cooperation agreement, which had been the prerequisite for its conclusion. Previously, through establishing scholarships, equipment donations, student internships, and mutual visits, the two sides had arrived at an enhanced understanding, laying a solid foundation for their cooperation. With 30 years of experience, HollySys’s industrial automation business had become a competitive domestic brand in the market, and the company had taken technological innovation and product research and development as its core competitive edge since its establishment, amassing hundreds of core patented technologies and cooperating closely with industrial users, universities and research institutions to provide industrial clients with safe, reliable systems products and solutions. The two sides continued to strengthen cooperation with the signing of the agreement, and through their expansion of areas of cooperation, and deepening in their level of cooperation, increased efforts would be devoted to the realization of the national intelligent manufacturing strategy. It was hoped that both sides could work together to create a better future!

The successful signing of the cooperation agreement marked a new stage in the cooperation between HollySys and BUCT CIST .The parties will achieve complementary advantages, deeply implement university-enterprise cooperation concepts, and construct a new pattern of industry-academia-research-application integration. Both sides will thus achieve synergistic, win-win development, enhancing their competitive edges, and opening a new chapter in industrial automation!
