Jiangsu Kuaida Agrochemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Kuaida”) is a large-scale, comprehensive pesticide and chemical enterprise, a key domestic producer of pesticides, a designated manufacturer of phosgene, and a high-tech enterprise in Jiangsu Province.

In order to keep up with the policy guidance of chemical enterprises, improve the safety production, and realize data communication with the provincial and municipal industrial park platforms, Beijing HollySys Industrial Software Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “HollySys IS”) combined the practical needs on site with the requirements of the Chemical Enterprise Safety Production Information Management Platform in Jiangsu Province — Data Specification 3.5 and the Inspection Guide for Chemical Enterprise Safety Production Information Management Platform in Jiangsu Province (Trial) and provided a five-sphere integrated Safety system solution for Kuaida to help its intelligentization and informatization, and successfully passed the inspection of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Emergency Management. 

The project has completed the implementation of DCS and SIS systems, the data collection and analysis of combustible and toxic gases, personnel positioning, video monitoring, electricity meter, fire protection, environmental protection, water, electricity and gas of the whole site, as well as the deployment of alarm, risk zoning management, personnel on duty, the whole process of enterprise production, education and training, dangerous chemicals check-in/out and mobile phone applications according to the inspection standards of Jiangsu Province. Besides, more than 80 data transmission interfaces with the provincial and municipal parks at all levels of the platform have been created.

The implementation of the project eliminates the information silos, and realizes real-time data sharing across the plant and interconnection between platforms, which greatly reduces the workload of maintenance personnel and significantly improves the automation and informatization of the power plant, It has an all-round display of information of each area, showing the real-time location of personnel and their dynamic motions, the statistics of the personnel in each area and risk zones; also, the alarm information can be shown in real time when there is one. Therefore, enterprises can manage all the information and status comprehensively. 

The successful implementation of the project effectively links and pushes notifications to the site, and provincial and municipal industrial park platforms in real time, thus enhancing the work efficiency for users while providing a strong basis for real-time decision-making to government departments.
