Openness
The MACS series can easily and seamlessly integrate third-party systems and devices directly through configuration without changing system programs.
- Supports PROFIBUS/HART/MODBUS and other common international fieldbus. Third-party devices, such as intelligent instruments, PLCs, and inverters are easily added.
- Provides OPC/DDE/ODBC and other software standard interfaces for direct data exchange with third-party applications.
Informatization
DCS has moved beyond traditional control systems. The MACS series organically integrates plant and process-based management to significantly improve enterprise productivity.
- Seamless integration with the Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) enables organic integration of control information with production management information.
- Seamless integration with the industrial automation management system (AMS) for fully electronic information management and maintenance of plant equipment.
- It can be connected to common enterprise resource planning systems (ERP) for a transparent field control layer falling within the scope of enterprise management.
- Internet-based remote access and browsing are supported for mastery of process information at any time, even from remote locations.
Intellectualization
All DCS sub-components are intelligent. MACS-series components have fully coordinated control through digital informatization.
- Each I/O is equipped with a CPU chip for fault diagnosis at the I/O channel level.
- Each component can run self-diagnosis with automatic alarms.
Miniaturization
There is a miniaturizing trend for DCS. The MACS series is designed to consume less power, which greatly advances system miniaturization.
- The main controller's typical power consumption is approximately 6W without running the fan, and its physical area is a tenth of that of the third-generation imported DCS controller.
- The typical power consumption of the I/O module itself is approximately 2W. As the size has been significantly reduced, reliability has only improved further.
High Reliability
The DCS design philosophy is to increasingly resemble security system design. The MACS series makes extensive use of technologies and devices that have previously only been used in security systems.
- The use of deterministic real-time industrial Ethernet protocols guarantees a reliable system network free from data collisions, regardless of changes in the communication load.
- Information redundancy technology effectively realizes data error correction.
- Data encryption technology firmly blocks illegal data access.
- The fail-safe design technology ensures that the channel stays in a safe state in cases of failure.
- Software development is conducted according to international security coding standards.
- Software testing code coverage is at 100%.
- The coverage of self-diagnosis in the system has been dramatically improved.
