HollySys's involvement in the Chongqing-Xiamen High-speed Railway project has come to a milestone with the opening of the Changde-Yiyang Section for passenger service on December 26, 2022. So far, the Changde-Changsha High-speed Railway has been fully completed.

The Changde-Changsha Section of the Chongqing-Xiamen High-speed Railway stretches for 154 kilometers in total, in which the Yiyang-Changsha Section of 63 kilometers was put into operation in September 2022. The Changde-Yiyang Section inaugurated this time is 91 kilometers long. Starting from Changde Station, this railway crosses Changde City and Yiyang City to connect Yiyang South Station of the Yiyang-Changsha Section, via a total of 3 stations, namely Changde Station and Hanshou Station, which are transformed from the existing ones, and Yiyang South Station as a new one. The line designed to run at speeds up to 350 km/h, is applied with the CTCS-3 train control system independently developed by HollySys.

As the main supplier of the CTCS-3 train control system for this line, Hollysys has provided 2 sets of Radio Block Center (RBC), 12 sets of Train Control Center (TCC),  and 1 set of Temporary Speed Restriction Server (TSRS).

Despite encountering numerous challenges such as a tight construction schedule, complicated access interfaces associated with existing lines, and frequent outbreaks of COVID-19, the project team completed the engineering design, equipment installation, on-site commissioning and other tasks with high quality and efficiency. In its role as the system integrator, HollySys played a lead role in organizing manufacturers to conduct thorough studies and evaluations and devising an optimized opening plan that strongly supported the section-by-section opening of the Changde-Yiyang Railway and seamless connection to existing lines in one shot. HollySys's outstanding performance was highly regarded and recognized by the client and the equipment management contractors.

The successful application of HollySys's train control products on the Changde-Yiyang Section fully demonstrates HollySys's comprehensive capabilities in the design, R&D, commissioning, and construction of rail transit projects and the powerful strength derived from its full range of products.
